Intermediate Workshop - Spring 2019

LBMP's Spring 2019 session consists of 14 weeks of classes. This includes 9 weeks of classroom rehearsals, 5 weeks of rehearsals onstage, and one weekend of performances. Classes take place once a week after school. In these weekly classes, students will learn proper stage etiquette, gain confidence, sing, act, and dance while working toward a final performance. At the end of the 14 weeks, all students perform in a full length production complete with costumes and sets.

This spring's production is Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr.!

Spring classes for students ages 11-16 are referred to as "Intermediate Workshop" classes. At this age, all students have substantial individual speaking roles in the final performance. They also focus on singing and dancing and they perform in group numbers throughout the final production. Students in the Intermediate Workshop class have more responsibility and are challenged more as performers

Please note that this class does not perform in the same shows that lead and supporting casts perform in. The Intermediate Workshop students put on their own show and are referred to as the Time Steps cast. They are not in either the Musical Notes or Top Hats casts.
