Spring 2021 In-Person Class | Ages 8-14

This spring, we are excited to offer a bonus class that will run throughout the second half of the spring semester. This session consists of 9 weeks of in-person classes beginning the week of April 1st. The class will meet weekly on Thursdays from 4:00-6:00pm. In these weekly classes, students will be working toward a final performance of The Wizard of Oz! Each class will consist of acting lessons, theater games, and blocking and rehearsal for The Wizard of Oz. Each student will be cast in a substantial speaking role (or multiple roles) in The Wizard of Oz.

We will follow the extensive safety guidelines required by the City of San Francisco, which include wearing masks, staying 6 feet apart, and capping the class at 14 students maximum. We will have one outdoor snack break, during which students can remove their masks to eat.

Please note that singing and dancing are indoor activities that are not currently permitted by the City of San Francisco, so singing and dancing will not be part of our curriculum this spring. Additionally, the final performance of The Wizard of Oz will not be allowed to have a live audience. The performance will occur during the final day of class and Linda will record the performance on video. We will email a video link to parents and you are welcome to share it with any other family and friends as desired.

Class meetings (Thursdays 4:00-6:00pm):
