Intermediate Workshop - Spring 2020

*** LBMP's Production of Frozen Jr. has been cancelled due to COVID-19 ***

LBMP's Spring 2020 session consists of 15 weeks of classes. This includes 8 weeks of classroom rehearsals, 6 weeks of rehearsals onstage, and one weekend of performances. Classes take place once a week after school. In these weekly classes, students will learn proper stage etiquette, gain confidence, sing, act, and dance while working toward a final performance. At the end of the 13 weeks, all students perform in a full length production complete with costumes and sets.

This spring's production will be Disney's Frozen Jr.!

Fall classes for students ages 11-16 are referred to as "Intermediate Workshop" classes. At this age, all students have substantial individual speaking roles in the final performance. They also focus on singing and dancing and they perform in group numbers throughout the final production. Students in the Intermediate Workshop class have more responsibility and are challenged more as performers

Please note that this class does not perform in the same shows that lead and supporting casts perform in. The Intermediate Workshop students put on their own show and are referred to as the Time Steps cast. They are not in either the Musical Notes or Top Hats casts.

Pick-up from school is available for children who are attending St. Finn Barr or Sunnyside Elementary, only through the Classroom Rehearsal period. If you would like Linda to walk your student from school to our location at St. Finn Barr, register for your performance workshop class first, then "add a class" to include afterschool pickup. Please add Linda Bulgo to your child's school emergency card and/or authorized pickup list.

Parent Meeting

On Tuesday, February 18th, there will be a parent meeting from 5 to 6pm at St. Finn Barr for all families. At this meeting, parents will receive important information about the spring session and students will be able to pick up their scripts. Picking up your script before classes begin is important because on the first day of class, students will be read a couple lines by the character that they would most like to play. If you would like some extra practice time with your script, please email us and we can arrange an early pick up.

Cast Party

A cast party for all performers will be held on Sunday, May 31st 5-7pm in the Scottish Rite Banquet Hall. The party will include dinner, crafts, and other activities. More details will come later via email.
